Now for the fun part.
Starting off with my home network. I am now running a Ubiquiti Edge Router X off of a PoE injector and it is my main Firewall and Router. Coming off of that I have a Powerline adapter connecting the server. Also coming from there I have the 8 Port PoE switch which is hosting the (2) Reolink cameras, and a Unifi AC-AP Lite. Connected to that is a unmanaged 8 port TP link that has a total of (4) Raspberry Pi's and 2 Libre Renegades.
Recently I found 3 Raspberry Pi 4 boards for a steal. (2GB, 4GB, & 8GB model) and they are currently online with Raspbian 64 bit OS and are my 3 managers for my docker swarm. I also bought 3 PoE hats for them and they are all 3 being powered via PoE from the TP-Link 8 port unmanaged switch. The 2 Libre Renegade Boards are now just simply workers in the swarm and are also plugged into the unmanaged switch but powered with a 5-port USB power brick. Currently the only thing running on the swarm is Portainer API which is connected to my main server so I can manage the swarm from the server. The Raspberry Pi 3b+ is currently running the Ubiquiti controller for the AP and will eventually be migrated so I can reload it with the 64 bit Raspbian.
For the Main server I went back to unraid and bought a Rosewill RSV-R4000 which has 8 internal 3.5" bays for the (8) 3TB SAS drives from the R510 server. I got my hands on a Ryzen 7 3800X and 24GB of DDR4 RAM so I purchased a Gigabyte B450M and put it all in the Rosewill case with the HBA from the R510. Only downside is I had to rebuild the array and lost all the stuff but I had it all backed up on (2) 4TB external WD hard drives so it was just a matter of migrating it all back. I have so much stuff already running on this server I will have to do another post just about the server.
I am hopefully picking up (3) Dell R710 tomorrow and will be using these for my Proxmox/CEPH cluster. I found out the (2) Dell Powerconnect 6224 that I currently have will take an expansion card and each will expand to include (2) 10GB SFP+ ports. Plans are to get a Dell Powerconnect 6224P (PoE variant) and stack all 3 into one logical switch which will give me (6) 10GB ports (3 for R710 CEPH, 1 for R510, and the last 2 for the R610 with a 10GB PCIe card down the road) if I need more I will simply add another 6224 to the stack for 2 more ports. My priority right now is simply going to be the R710 with the daughter board that will allow for 2 10GB SFP+ ports natively without need for a PCIe card.
All of this wont be online until early next year due to currently living in California and the power bill will kill me. That's all I have as far as an update to the Hardware. I will writing up a detailed list of the Main server that's currently online with all of its apps (docker containers) and how they interconnect.
